Early last March I experienced a complete tear of my right arm bicep tendons. I underwent surgery to repair the tear and proceeded with the recovery process as directed by the Surgeon; completing physical therapy as directed. At the November follow up with the Surgeon; I was given the green light to start easing back into working out.
I met with Rachel at my initial appointment. We discussed previous workout history, injury history, and current fitness goals. After the initial consult, I was teamed up with Matt. Matt's knowledge and experience with training those injury prone and those recovering from injury was extremely beneficial. Over the past 4 months we developed a lifting plan to re-establish my previous strength and fitness levels. We identfied areas of weakness and bad habits. Stability exercises and proper form have played a primary source of successful progress.
